Programme Overview

Introduction

As part of our continued efforts to ensure we have a sustainable and responsible selection of developmental and support services in place at FMA, we are pleased to announce the offering of this Performance Coaching programme for FY26, which aligns with our recently-enhanced Performance Framework.

Coaching sessions can be used for reasons including: leadership development, performance support, navigating challenges, and role transitions.

How to access coaching

To be approved for coaching sessions, the following form needs to be submitted – either by someone self-nominating, or a people leader nominating a direct report. This form will be received by the OD Team, which will discuss and review the nomination alongside the coachee and respective People Business Partner, People Leader and Executive Director.

If the nomination is supported, the OD Team will confirm the number of approved sessions and direct the coachee to fma.coach to schedule their first coaching session with their preferred coach. After scheduling, they’ll receive a confirmation email with a Microsoft Teams link they can click at the scheduled time to connect with their coach online/virtually wherever they are.

Confidentiality

All of the coaches in this programme are professionally trained and qualified, adhere to the ICF Code of Ethics, and will treat the information shared in the coaching conversations as confidential.

If a situation arises where a coach believes that a person is at risk and that it is necessary to share specific information with someone outside the coaching session, they will ask permission first.

While coaching sessions will remain 1:1 and confidential with the chosen Spring Leadership coach, there is an expectation that the coachee and their People Leader will agree on the objectives of the coaching sessions in advance of the first session, and discuss progress towards achieving coaching goals regularly.
